NATIONAL POSTAL MAIL HANDLERS UNION 2008 CONVENTION NPMHU LOCAL NO. 321 ELECTION OF DELEGATES TO 2008 CONVENTION CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS Pursuant to rules adopted by the National Executive Board of the National Postal Mail Handlers Union, Local Union 321 has conducted an election of 7 delegates for the 2008 Convention. On February 8, 2008, the Judges of the 2008 Delegate Election mailed ballots to all eligible voters. The candidates whose names appeared on the ballot were certified by the Judges. The deadline for the return of ballots was 9 A.M. on March 5, 2008 at P.O. BOX 11309, Denver, CO 80211. The counting of the ballots took place commencing at 12:33 P.M. on March 5, 2008, at 1833 W. Elk Place, Denver, Colorado 80211 in the presence of candidates and observers. The Judges received a total of 329 returned envelopes. Of these, 8 were not opened and not counted for the following reasons: 8 Did not contain the voter's name 4 Original and duplicate ballots received, and only the later received ballot was counted 4 Ballots not properly returned 7 Ballots properly challenged and voided 1 Other 20 Total Ballots Received But Not Counted
Therefore, the total number of ballots counted was 309.
